Global Star Grenada is a K–12 English-medium international school located on the campus of St. George's University. We prepare students — from early childhood through senior school — for the world's leading universities through the Global Nexus Curriculum, a UK-standard academic framework.
Global Star Grenada offers a full K–12 academic journey structured in four stages. Each programme builds on the last, giving students a continuous, coherent education in a single institution — from their very first classroom to university preparation.
Play-based discovery learning for children ages 3 to 5. Language immersion, sensory exploration, and early numeracy set the foundation for lifelong curiosity.
Grades 1–5. Structured literacy, mathematics, science, humanities, and the arts in an inquiry-led English-medium environment with small class sizes.
Grades 6–8. A transitional stage where students develop academic discipline, critical thinking, and cross-curricular projects aligned with Cambridge Lower Secondary.
Grades 9–12. College-preparatory rigour with IGCSE, AS/A-Level pathways, and university counselling. Graduates progress to universities in the UK, US, Canada, and beyond.
The Global Nexus Curriculum is the academic spine of every Global Star campus worldwide. Benchmarked against Cambridge International and the UK National Curriculum, it weaves together English-language mastery, mathematical thinking, scientific inquiry, and character education — giving students a passport to universities on four continents.
At Global Star Grenada, Global Nexus is delivered by internationally-qualified faculty within the enriching environment of the SGU campus. Students benefit from a curriculum designed for transfer, so learners moving between our campuses — whether in Grenada, Vietnam, or elsewhere — experience true academic continuity.
We sit inside one of the Caribbean's most respected academic environments, deliver an international curriculum in English, and keep class sizes small enough that every student is known. Here is what that means in practice.
Our academic block sits within the St. George's University campus at True Blue. Students grow up in an atmosphere of scholarship — seeing the daily rhythms of university life, accessing shared facilities, and benefitting from an environment built for serious learning.
The Global Nexus Curriculum aligns with UK National Curriculum standards and Cambridge International benchmarks. Students progress through IGCSE and AS/A-Level qualifications recognised at top universities worldwide.
Our student body includes the children of SGU faculty, expatriate families, Grenadian students, and learners from across the Caribbean. English is the common language; cultural fluency is a daily practice.
With an approximate 1:12 student-to-teacher ratio, every child is seen, heard, and challenged appropriately. Teachers know each student's strengths, growth areas, and aspirations — and design learning accordingly.
Our senior school programme is designed for university admission in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, and the Caribbean. Dedicated university counselling begins in Grade 10 and continues through application season.
As part of the international Global Star network — with campuses including our early childhood centre in Vietnam — we support families whose lives cross borders. Shared curriculum frameworks mean smooth transitions for relocating students.
Global Star Grenada's academic block is located on the 42-acre St. George's University campus at True Blue — a serene coastal setting on the southern tip of Grenada, surrounded by gardens, ocean views, and the everyday energy of a leading international university.
True Blue is one of Grenada's most beautiful corners — a peninsula where the campus meets the sea, shaded by palms and framed by soft Caribbean light. Our students walk to school each day into that same setting.
We welcome enquiries from families year-round. Whether you are relocating to Grenada, joining SGU, or seeking an international education locally, our admissions team will guide you through every step — from first conversation to first day of school.
If you have a question not addressed here, please reach out to our admissions team directly — we are happy to speak with every interested family.
